This policy explains what information this website (vectus.jomos.com.my) collects, why, and what we do with it. We have kept it short and specific to what the site actually does. If anything here is unclear, email us at idham@jomos.com.my.

Who we are

Vectus is a transportation management platform built by the team at JOMos, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This website is the public marketing site for Vectus. The Vectus platform itself (the Admin Portal, Driver App and Passenger App) is licensed to organisations under a separate agreement, and data inside a licensed deployment is governed by that agreement and by the licensed organisation’s own policies, not by this page.

What this website collects

Contact and demo requests. When you submit the contact form we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you type in, together with the IP address the form was sent from and the time it was sent. This is stored in the website’s administration area and emailed to our team so that we can reply to you. We use it only to respond to your enquiry and to arrange a demo if you asked for one.

Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read and how people arrive at the site. Analytics runs only after you accept cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. Until you accept, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent. Google Analytics is provided by Google LLC and is subject to Google’s privacy policy.

Server logs. Like almost every website, our web server records standard access logs (IP address, requested page, browser type, time). We use these to keep the site secure and working, and they are rotated and deleted automatically.

What we do not collect. This website has no user accounts, no comments, no payment processing and no advertising. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies. Your choice on the cookie banner is remembered in your browser’s local storage so we do not show the banner again. If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to distinguish visitors. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser at any time; the site will still work.

Who can see your information

Contact-form submissions are seen by the Vectus team at JOMos. They are sent through an email service we operate and stored on our web server, which is hosted in a data centre operated by our hosting provider. Analytics data is processed by Google. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact-form submissions are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you about Vectus, and are deleted when they are no longer needed. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes. Analytics data is kept according to the retention period configured in Google Analytics.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email idham@jomos.com.my and we will respond. Malaysian residents have rights under the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA); we will honour those rights.

Changes to this policy

If we change what the site collects, we will update this page and the date at the top.
